Sophia Shi

Sophia is a Chemistry Ph.D. student and Stanford Bio-X Graduate Fellow. She is co-advised by Carolyn Bertozzi and Tony Wyss-Coray, and her research is focused on elucidating novel roles for glycans in brain aging and neurodegenerative disease. Sophia grew up in New Jersey and received her B.A. in Chemistry and Biology from Cornell University. Outside of the lab, she enjoys playing tennis, running, and painting.
