Naymalis La Santa Medina

Naymalis (Naymi) was born and raised in Puerto Rico, where she resided until the age of 18. She received a B.S. in Biology from WVWC in 2013 and an AAS in Veterinary Technology in 2016. She became a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in 2016 and worked in small animal practices until she joined West Virginia University in 2018 as a research RVT. Prior to joining the Bertozzi Lab, she was the Lab Manager for the Knight Lab at UCSF, where she managed several aspects of the lab, including training and development of rodent surgical models.
