Daniel Esquivel

Daniel was born in El Paso, TX and was raised in Shelby Township, MI. He received a B.S. in Neuroscience with a minor in Applied Mathematics from Johns Hopkins University in 2017, where he also aided in sleep and circadian rhythmicity research for Dr. Mark Wu. After graduating, he served as a research technician in collaboration with Drs. Marietta Tan, Simon Best, Richard Roden, Chien-Fu Hung, and T.C. Wu to aid in the development of novel immunotherapies for HPV-associated cancers. Outside of the lab, one of his greatest passions is teaching, as he has tutored elementary school-age children in mathematics since high school.
