Sherry Li

Sherry is originally from Beijing, China and moved to Boston for high school. She attended Northwestern University in Evanston, IL, where she majored in Integrated Science and Chemistry. During her time at Northwestern, she did research on molecular genetics with Dr. Richard Morimoto and nanoparticle drug delivery with Dr. Nathan Gianneschi. Sherry joined the Bertozzi group in 2020, where she hopes to study the role of glycans in the brain. She will work on elucidating the function of mucin domains in glioma and long-term potentiation.
