Muthukumar Ramanathan

rahm[at]stanford.edu

Rahm trained across biochemistry, medicine, and chemical biology. He began at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, studying phosphoinositide signaling as an undergraduate. During graduate training in Paul Khavari’s lab at Stanford, he developed methods to map RNA–protein interactions in living cells and advanced proximity-based proteomics. After completing his residency training in Pathology at Stanford, he is now an Instructor in Pathology. As a member of the Bertozzi group, he focuses on modulating function of cell-surface proteins and developing new therapeutic strategies to improve antibody–drug conjugate (ADC) therapies for patients.
