Angel Kuo

Angel is a chemistry graduate student from Torrance, CA. She did undergraduate research on biological therapeutics process development with J. Christopher Love at MIT and received a B.A. in chemistry from Wellesley College in 2018. After undergrad, she worked at a biotechnology startup in Los Angeles. She joined the lab as an NSF-GRFP fellow in 2020. She is interested in better understanding mucins and mucin-selective proteases in the context of human health and disease. Outside of lab, Angel enjoys trying new foods, watching Netflix, and dancing with Innovative Styles, a contemporary dance group on campus.
